Pitch Shifter, Every Setting: Key, Semitones, Voices and Tape Mode (Free, No Upload)
Every setting of the free Pitch Shifter: Detect key (a backing track reads C major, 100% confident — and speech reads 5%, because speech has no key), Move it to D (+2 semitones, the short way round), the three voice modes (Stay natural, Follow pitch, Set timbre), the presets, Tape mode (−2 semitones turns 30.7 s into 34.5 s; an octave up halves it) and fine tune. Then three jobs you can hear: a key change, a chipmunk voice and a deep voice. Nothing is uploaded.

The Pitch Shifter, every setting, on a backing track in C that a singer needs in D. Detect key reads the track as C major with 100% confidence; on a spoken voice note it reads A minor at just 5% and says it could also be D major — speech has no key, and it does not pretend otherwise. Move it to D sets +2 semitones, the short way round. What happens to voices is the setting that matters: Stay natural keeps a voice sounding like the same person, Follow pitch moves everything together (the chipmunk), and Set timbre changes the character on its own. Tape mode moves the length too: two semitones down turns 30.7 seconds into 34.5, and an octave up halves it. Fine tune works in cents for a recording that is slightly sharp or flat. The pitch shifter, every setting: semitones and fine tune, the presets, what happens to voices, tape mode, and key detection — and which to use for what. Free, and nothing is uploaded.
Presets at the top. Then how far to move it, what happens to voices, the key, and the output. And a preview, so you can hear it before you export.
Sounds like C major · 100%
Move it to D → +2 semitones
What happens to voices is the setting that matters. Stay natural keeps a voice sounding like the same person. Follow pitch moves everything together — that is the chipmunk. And Set timbre changes the character on its own.
Stay natural · 20.0 s in, 20.0 s out
Speech: A minor · 5% confident
Octave · Fifth · Chipmunk · Deep · Tape
Tape −2 → 34.5 s · octave up → 15.4 s
Fine tune moves it in cents — hundredths of a semitone — for a recording that is slightly sharp or flat.
Three jobs. A song in a different key: the key, Move it to, Stay natural. You already heard it.
Chipmunk · +7 · length kept
Deep voice · −5
So: a key change, Stay natural. A funny voice, Follow pitch. An old-machine sound, Tape mode. And a slightly out-of-tune recording, Fine tune.
