A stabiliser tracks how the camera actually moved from frame to frame, works out the smooth path it should have taken, and shifts every frame onto it. The edges that shifting exposes are hidden by zooming in slightly, which is why stabilising always costs a little of the frame — this tool reports both numbers side by side, the shake it removed and the crop it spent doing it. Image Tool Hub runs the whole thing inside your browser on your own processor, so the clip is never uploaded to a server. It is free with no account and no watermark: the free tier stabilises one video at a time, up to 200 MB and five minutes, and exports at up to 720p. Pro removes the size and length caps and exports at the source resolution, up to 4K.

This is what a camera does when the person holding it is walking. Every step is in the picture.
Shake removed: 67%
This is the video stabiliser on Image Tool Hub. It is free, it needs no account, and the work happens on your own device.

It also tells you, before you press anything, that the free export is seven hundred and twenty pixels tall. Four K exports are the paid tier, and the button that says so is right there.
One press, and it starts tracking the movement frame by frame.

You can flip between the original and the stabilised version before you download anything, which is the only way to judge whether the trade was worth it.
If the automatic setting is too strong or too gentle, smoothing, shakiness and zoom are all yours to change, and it re-runs on the same clip.
And here is the browser’s own record of everything it fetched while that video was being rebuilt. Not one request carried the clip anywhere. There was no upload, because there is nowhere to upload it to.
Download, and the steadier version is on your machine.
It is one of more than two hundred tools here, and every one of them works the same way.
That is the stabiliser, free, in a browser tab. Try it on your own shaky footage — and I will see you in the next video.
