Frame interpolation creates the frames that were never filmed. Between every two frames of your clip it works out what the picture must have looked like in between, and inserts it — so 30 frames a second becomes 60, and motion that juddered becomes smooth. Image Tool Hub does this inside your browser, using your own processor and graphics card, which means the video is never uploaded to a server. It is free to use with no account and no watermark: the free tier exports at up to 480p and 60 fps at 2×. Pro adds 3× and 4× (up to 120 fps), exports up to 4K, removes the file size cap and takes the ads away. The tool also does slow motion, can work on just part of a clip, and exports MP4, MOV or WebM.

The picture in the middle of this row does not exist in the video.
Your own computer invented it, to sit exactly between the two frames beside it. Do that for every pair, and a clip that judders at thirty frames a second turns into a smooth sixty.
This is the frame interpolation tool on Image Tool Hub. It is free, it needs no account, and your video never leaves this browser.
A 6-second pan, shot at 30 fps.
Will export 60 fps · 852×480 · 6.0s
That four-eighty is the free export size, and the tool says so right here, before you press anything, instead of surprising you at the end.
One press.
30 fps → 60 fps
Two times is what free gives you, and it doubles the rate. Three and four times are a Pro feature, and the card tells you that before you click it, not after.
You can also choose how each in-between frame is made. There is an A I method, a motion compensated one, and a plain blend — and the tool checks what your device can actually run, then tells you which one it picked.
And here is the part that matters. This is the browser’s own record of everything it fetched while that video was being rebuilt. Not one request carried the clip anywhere. There was no upload, because there is nowhere to upload it to.
Download, and the finished file is on your machine.
It is one of more than two hundred tools here, and every one of them works the same way.
That is frame interpolation, free, in a browser tab. Try it on your own footage — and I will see you in the next video.
