What This Split Excel Tool Offers
Split one Excel workbook into multiple files: by sheet (one file per sheet) or by rows. Choose which sheet to split when using row mode, see workbook info and a split preview, and optionally set a custom ZIP filename. Download all results as a ZIP. All processing runs in your browser.

How Split Excel Works

What does split by sheet do?

What does split by rows do?
You choose which sheet to split. The tool splits that sheet into multiple files, each with up to N rows (you set N). You can repeat the header row in each file. A preview shows how many part files will be created.
Can I choose a custom ZIP filename?
Yes. Use the optional ZIP filename field to set the name of the downloaded ZIP (e.g. report_split). If left empty, the default is the workbook name plus _split.zip.
Is my data secure?
