What This Tool Offers

This free tool changes the slide dimensions of a PowerPoint (PPTX) in your browser. Choose from six presets or enter a custom size in inches and download the resized presentation. File size is shown; you can choose another file or clear without reloading.

  • Presets: 16:9 (widescreen), 4:3 (standard), 1:1 (square), 9:16 (portrait), A4 (landscape), Letter (landscape).
  • Custom size: Enter width and height in inches (max 24 per side).
  • File size and UX: File size is shown next to the filename; use “Choose another file” or “Clear” to switch or reset.
  • Client-side and private: Your file is never uploaded; processing runs in your browser.

Presets and Custom Size

Presets set the slide size to common aspect ratios or paper sizes: 16:9 and 4:3 for screens; 1:1 for square slides; 9:16 for portrait (e.g. vertical video or mobile); A4 and Letter for print in landscape. For other dimensions, choose Custom (inches) and enter width and height (each 0.1–24 inches). The tool writes the correct OOXML slide size type (e.g. screen16x9, screen4x3) where applicable.

Why Change Slide Size?

Changing slide size lets you switch between widescreen (16:9) and standard (4:3), use portrait (9:16) or square (1:1) for social or mobile, match print (A4, Letter), or fit a specific display or template.

How It Works

Upload a PPTX (or choose another file to switch). Pick a preset or enter custom width and height in inches. Click “Download with new size”; the tool updates the presentation’s slide size in your browser and downloads the file. Content is scaled by PowerPoint when you open the result. Your file never leaves your device.

Powered by browser APIs and client-side processing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my file secure?

Yes. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Your PPTX never leaves your device; no uploads and no server processing.

What presets are available?

16:9 (widescreen), 4:3 (standard), 1:1 (square), 9:16 (portrait), A4 (landscape), and Letter (landscape). You can also set custom width and height in inches (max 24 per side).

Will content be scaled or cropped?

Slide dimensions are changed in the file; PowerPoint will scale content to fit the new size when you open it. Layout may shift; review the result after download.

Can I process another file without clearing?

Yes. Use “Choose another file” to pick a different PPTX, or Clear to remove the file and start over.
