Is it safe?

Short answer: yes. Every tool on Image Tool Hub runs entirely on your device. Your files are processed on your device and never uploaded to a server — so there is nothing for anyone to intercept, store, or leak.

That is a real difference from most online converters and editors, which send your files to a remote server, process them there, and (hopefully) delete them afterwards. Here, that upload step simply does not exist.

Nothing is uploaded

When you open a file, your browser reads and processes it locally using your device's own resources. The file never travels to us, to a cloud service, or to anyone else. We could not access it even if we wanted to.

Works offline

Once a tool's page has finished loading, you can switch off your internet connection and it keeps working. That is the clearest proof that the conversion, compression, or editing is happening on your device — not on a server somewhere.

No file tracking

Free tools do not ask you to sign up. We do not build a profile of your files, we do not scan their contents, and we never store them. What you do with a tool stays on your machine.

You can verify it yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools and watch the Network tab — you will see your file is never sent anywhere. Or simply turn off Wi-Fi and keep working.

How it works

Modern devices are far more capable than they used to be. Our tools use advanced on-device engineering to convert, compress, resize, and edit images, video, audio, PDFs, and documents — it all runs on your device, not our servers.

It is essentially the same kind of processing a desktop application does, except there is nothing to install and nothing to upload. Your device does the work; the page is just the interface.

How this differs from other online tools

Most “online” file tools are really just a friendly front end for a server. You upload, their machines do the work, and your file sits on their infrastructure for some window of time. That is convenient, but it means your files leave your control. Image Tool Hub flips that around: the tool comes to your file, not the other way around.

Common questions

Do you store my files?

No. It all runs on your device, not our servers, so there is nothing for us to store, back up, or delete.

Can you or anyone else see my files?

No. We have no access to the files you open in a tool.

Is it really private, or is that just marketing?

It is verifiable. Turn off your internet after a tool loads and it still works, or watch your browser's Network tab — your file is never transmitted.

Are large or sensitive files safe?

Yes — arguably more so than with upload-based tools, because it all runs on your device, not our servers. The only real limit is your device's own memory and speed.
