Audio Equalizer, Every Setting: Fix a Muddy Voice (Before & After)
Every setting of the free Audio Equalizer, with a before and after you can hear: the spectrum shows a muddy voice note's wall of low end, four moves fix it (250 Hz −6, 125 Hz −4, 4 kHz +4, high-pass at 90 Hz), then the Podcast, Bass boost and Small speakers presets — and the ceiling that turns a track down 2.6 dB so a bass boost cannot clip. Nothing is uploaded.

The Audio Equalizer, every setting, with a before and after you can hear. A voice note that sounds like it was recorded in a cupboard is analysed first: the spectrum drawn behind the curve shows a wall of low end from 100 to 400 Hz and almost nothing above 3 kHz. Four moves fix it — 250 Hz down 6 dB, 125 Hz down 4, 4 kHz up 4 for the consonants, and a high-pass filter at 90 Hz that removes the rumble below the voice. The Podcast preset is a quicker start for speech. On music, Bass boost adds 6 dB at the bottom and the tool turns the whole track down 2.6 dB so the boost cannot clip; Small speakers cuts the bass a laptop cannot play. At Flat nothing is re-encoded — the file is copied untouched. Everything runs in your browser, so no recording is uploaded.
