Fade Audio, Every Setting: Curves, Length, Seamless Loops (Free)
Every setting of the free Fade Audio tool on a 20-second track that stops dead: the Podcast preset (half a second each end), Song ending (5 s logarithmic fade out), the six curves shown on the waveform, Ends at 15 s with the rest trimmed (20 s in, 15 s out), fading to a level instead of silence, and the Seamless loop (a 4 s crossfade — 16 s out, with no seam when it repeats). Three jobs you can hear. Nothing is uploaded.

Fade Audio, every setting, on a 20-second music loop that stops dead. The waveform shows the fade on your audio before anything is rendered, and Play with fade previews it. The Podcast preset fades half a second at each end — enough that room noise does not snap on and off. Song ending fades five seconds out on a logarithmic curve. Six curves shape the fade: linear, equal power, smooth, exponential, logarithmic and steep. A fade can sit anywhere: set Ends at to 15 seconds and tick End the file at the fade out, and the file is cut there. Fade to a level dips music to a floor under a voice instead of to silence. Seamless loop crossfades the end into the start so the file can repeat forever — 16 seconds out with a 4-second overlap. Free processes one file up to 50 MB and 30 minutes, with fades up to 30 seconds. Nothing is uploaded.

It just stops
Presets at the top. Then the curve, how long each fade is and where it sits, what happens to the rest of the file, and the output. The waveform shows the fade on your audio before anything is rendered.

Fade to a level, not to silence, is for music under a voice: it dips to a floor — say minus twelve decibels — and stays there.
Seamless loop · 4 s overlap · 0:16
Three jobs. A podcast or a voice recording: the Podcast preset, and nothing else.
A song that has to end at a set time: Song ending, then move Ends at to where it must stop.
And background music for a game, a stream or a website: Seamless loop.
So: voices, half a second each end. Music, a long logarithmic fade out. Under a voice, fade to a level. On repeat, seamless loop.
