How to Use

Our all-in-one timezone converter provides a visual timeline to compare times across multiple time zones. Here's how to use it:

  1. Default Timezones: Your local timezone is automatically detected and set as the first timezone, along with EST (US) and GMT (UK) by default. All 42 time zones are available in the dropdown.
  2. Add More Timezones: Click the "Add Timezone" dropdown to select additional timezones from the list. The dropdown shows all available timezones that aren't already added.
  3. Select Date: Use the date picker to choose the date you want to view. For today's date, you'll see the current time updating in real-time. For other dates, it shows 12:00 AM (midnight) as the starting time.
  4. Navigate Hours: Use the < and > buttons at the top to switch between the first 12 hours (12:00 AM - 11:00 AM) and the second 12 hours (12:00 PM - 11:00 PM). The default view shows the 12-hour block containing your current time.
  5. Hover to Highlight: Hover over any time in your home timezone (the first row) to see a green dashed rectangle that highlights that time column across all timezone rows. The rectangle moves smoothly as you hover.
  6. Click for Details: Click on a time to open a compact details panel showing the exact time in all selected timezones at that moment. The details panel stays visible until you click another time or close it.
  7. Remove Timezones: Click the "Remove" button next to any timezone (except when only one remains) to remove it from the view.
  8. View Current Times: Each timezone row displays its current time (for today) or starting time (for other dates) next to the timezone label.

💡 Tips:

  • The rectangle indicator follows your mouse when hovering, making it easy to compare times across timezones.
  • You can hover over different times even after selecting one - the details panel will stay on your last selection until you click a new time.
  • All time conversions are performed client-side in your browser for privacy and speed - no data is sent to our servers.
  • The converter automatically adjusts for daylight saving time (DST) in each timezone.
